Jalandhar September 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A special makeup workshop was organized for B.Voc. Cosmetology students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, with the aim of providing practical knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of professional beauty and makeup. This workshop was organized at Anthea Makeover, Model Town, Jalandhar. During this workshop, special emphasis was placed on essential makeup techniques—such as skin preparation, base application, eye makeup, contouring, and highlighting—as well as the use of professional makeup products and tools.
Students had the opportunity to gain insights into current beauty trends, professional practices, and the importance of creativity and precision in makeup artistry. The workshop was conducted by Anthea, a renowned professional makeup artist, beauty expert, and the owner of Anthea Makeovers, Jalandhar. They gave a live demonstration of various techniques and guided the students through practical sessions. The workshop received a very positive response from the students. This workshop provided them with valuable experience in the professional beauty industry and inspired them to enhance their skills and self-confidence.
Sharing her views on the workshop, Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra stated that practical knowledge is essential for students specializing in makeovers, as classroom teaching alone is insufficient; therefore, faculty members from the Fashion Makeover Department regularly organize workshops covering various topics. She highly appreciated the efforts of Ms. Meenal Sandhu, a faculty member of the Fashion Makeover Department, in making the workshop a success and encouraged her to continue organizing workshops on other topics in the future as well.
