Jalandhar September 15 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In the spirit of engaging with the students in an educational manner and granting them relevant and useful knowledge, the Economics Forum of the Economics Department organized an interactive session titled “Connect and Converse.” The event was aimed at fostering the students’ intellectual growth through social interaction, the exchange of ideas, and the building of strong academic connections.
Addressing the students on this occasion, Dr. Supreet Talwar, Head of the Department of Economics, emphasized the importance of thinking beyond the curriculum and out of the box as well as the need to prioritize acquiring diverse skills for career building. During the session, the office bearers of the Economics Forum were formally introduced:

Secretary: Mr. Rajveer Singh
Treasurer: Ms. Purva
The event was successfully conducted by President Gurleen Kaur and Treasurer Purva, under the guidance of Economics Department faculty members Dr. Simkee Dev and Ms. Aarti Gupta.
Various activities were organized to make the session engaging and informative:

2. Economics-themed riddles
3. Photographic memory challenge
4. Sudoku Champion
5. Economics quiz
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra presided over the event. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Dhingra remarked that it is essential to regularly organize such events to instill self-confidence in students and foster contemporary awareness among them. Dr. Dhingra noted that through such events, students not only articulate their own viewpoints but also strive to understand the perspectives of subject experts.
