Ten days NCC Combined Annual Training Camp starts at HMV

Jalandhar December 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- 2 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Jalandhar has organized a ten days CATC camp at Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya under the able guidance of Commanding Officer Col. M.S. Sachdev and kind cooperation of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Maj Amanpreet Kaur, Adm Officer 2PB ( G) BN NCC told that 360 cadets from 32 different institutions of Jalandhar, Kapurthala and surrounding areas, 7 ANOs, 16 JCOs/ NCOs have reported for the camp. She further added that CATC is the basic mandatory camp for all the cadets to make them eligible for NCC A, B and C Certificate Exams. Biometric attendance of every cadet has been ensured in the camp.

During ten days stay cadets will be trained in drill, firing, Obstacle course, Map reading, weapon training, camouflage, concealment, Guard of honour and much more. Expert talks will be organized for cracking SSB, CDS and other armed forces exams. Social service activities, games and cultural activities will also be organized for cadets. Principal Dr. Sareen wished all the cadets very best and also encouraged them to enthusiastically participate in the activities of the camp. Lt. Sonia Mahindru, ANO motivated the cadets to give their best during the camp.
