International Conference

Jalandhar March 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus in collaboration with IKGPTU & Maharaja Agrasen University, Solan (HP) organized 4th international conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering, Management & Paramedical Sciences in which more than 100 faculty members from India and Abroad i.e. Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and Australia Participated and exchanged their ideas & views on the above topic.

The conference started with Lighting of Lamp by dignitaries S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director, Academic Affairs KCL Group), Dr. R.K. Gupta (Chief guest, Vice Chancellor, Agrasen University Solan), Dr. Ekonkar Johal (Dy. Registrar HRM & College development, IKGPTU), Dr.R.S Deol (Director LKCTC), Dr. Inderpal Singh (Dean, Management) & Dr. Pooja Dhand (HOD ,CSE).

Dr. R.S Deol (Director, LKCTC) welcomed all the dignitaries. He stated that in LKCTC we provide environment to students & faculty for Research and Innovation. Our endeavour is to make our students a good team member, firm decision maker and an efficient leader. So our final year students are in position to face the society and come up with sound position in future to come. In LKCTC we focus on Overall personality development of students and strive to provide best placements.

Dr. Dilip Nandkeolyar (Director IMM, Co-Chancellor Commonwealth University), Puneet Chopra (Director Software Development Amazon, USA), Dr. Emmanuel Awuor (Assoc. Prof. University of Africa) & Dr. Rishi Raj Sharma (Prof. & Assoc. Dean GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur) were the keynote speakers of the day.

Dr. Inderpal Singh (Dean Management ) and Dr. Pooja Dhand (HOD,CSE) coordinated the conference and presented valedictory report in which they highlighted that more than 100 papers were presented by research depicting the emerging trends in Management, Computer Science, Civil Engineering ,Electronics, Mechanical Applied Science, Medical Sciences and Hotel Management.

At the end Dr. Kapil Kanwar (Principal, School of Pharmacy) presented vote of thanks to the dignitaries & paper presenters. He stated that in current scenario curriculum & pedagogy is to be designed as per the need of industry.
