Jalandhar May 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hindi Sahitya Dhara of PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a guest lecture on ‘Employment Opportunities in the Field of Hindi Literature’ for BA and B.Ed students. Dr. Anil Kumar Pandey, Assistant Professor in Hindi at Lovely Professional University, delivered his insights on the subject, emphasizing the importance of pride in language and literature studies. He highlighted the abundant employment opportunities in language and literature-related fields, such as radio and television, where there is a shortage of people using Hindi and Punjabi appropriately.
He also mentioned employment prospects in areas like publication, proofreading, advertising, and even YouTube. Dr. Pandey encouraged contributing to language and literature in some capacity and shared how seeking guidance from mentors and engaging in extracurricular activities can pave the way for career opportunities. The program concluded with the recitation of a few lines of poetry. President Shri Naresh Budhia, Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, esteemed members of the management committee, and the worthy Principal Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar praised the department for successfully organizing the event.
