Jalandhar May 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- CSE Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus, organised one day Industrial Visit to Meander Software Private Limited, Mohali .
In an effort to narrow the chasm between industry practices and academic learning, the Computer Science Engineering Department at Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical recently organized an industrial visit for students of 4th and 6th semesters of B Tech CSE and B Tech DS programs.
The initiative aims to provide students with firsthand exposure to real-world industrial environments, technologies, and processes. By immersing themselves in industry settings, students gain practical insights that complement their classroom education, enhancing their overall understanding of concepts and applications.
Dr. Pooja Dhand, Head of the Computer Science Engineering Department & Dean Academics, emphasized the significance of such initiatives in preparing students for the challenges of the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
During the industrial visit, students had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, observe live projects, and gain insights into the latest trends and innovations in the field. The experience provided them with a deeper understanding of how theoretical concepts translate into real-world applications, fostering a holistic approach to learning.

Sukhbir Singh Chatha, Director, Academic Affairs, KCL Group and Dr. R S Deol, Director, LKCTC emphasised that by organizing such initiatives, Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical campus reaffirms its commitment in providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of the digital age. Further they encouraged the Computer Science Engineering Department for organising such visits for bridging the gap between academia and industry.
