Jalandhar May 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar held a 3 week Certificate Course in Hone your Cooking Skills for the students of 12th standard free of cost. The students joined these classes with great enthusiasm and learnt many things from the expert faculty of Apeejay.
In these classes, Dr. Monika Anand from Department of Home Science taught the students about different modes of cooking like Baking and Steaming. They learnt making desserts like muffins, cupcakes, frozen desserts, healthy salads and importance of nutritious food. The students- Laveena & Naina assisted Dr. Anand in these classes.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressing her views said that since the youth is the future of the nation, it is important to guide them and these free of cost Skill Enhancement classes give them an opportunity to explore the various courses which they might pursue in the future and at the same time utilize their free time productively and these classes will certainly prove to be beneficial for them.
