Students showcased their artistic talents with great creativity
Jalandhar March 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organised the successful organisation of Fermentology Fiesta – Biotechnology Journey into Flavorful Transformation through the Department of Biotechnology. In this program, more than 50 students participated enthusiastically in 13 teams, showcasing their creativity excellently. During this event, students presented a nutritious quantity in their meals while presenting dishes such as fermented drinks, fruit cards, idli, fermented pickles, beet fizzbang, mixed fruit vegetable card extravaganza, cheese, dhokla, sweet lassi, cider, apricot, shrikhand, kadhi, etc.
The team of Aditi, Rashi, Smriti, and Sukhmanpreet secured the first position in this competition. Along with the team of Saloni, Himanshi, Anshika, and Muskan, Saloni Sharma and Rukhsana’s team collectively achieved the second position. Additionally, Rupneet Kaur, Navpreet Kaur, and Aditi Sahgal, along with the team of Ananya and Arushi, collectively secured the third position. The team of Rashita, Isha, Harman, and Sanskriti, and Palak, Astha, Mitali, and Tanya were awarded consolation prizes.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated all the winning students and appreciated the efforts made by the Department of Biotechnology, Mrs. Navgeet Kaur, Dr. Sandeep Kaur Saggu, and the staff members for the successful organisation of this program. It is noteworthy that the crucial role of the decision-making panel was played by Dr. Manju Sahni and Dr. Sonik Bhatia.
