Jalandhar October 5 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Department of Physiotherapy of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized blood donation camp on 105th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Stya Paul in collaboration with Sacred Heart Hospital.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra expressed her views on this occasion and said that Dr. Stya Paul himself was a worshipper of humanity and a social worker of high stature. To connect our students with these noble feelings, a blood donation camp was organized so that students too learn to contribute in the welfare of the society and realise and feel the joy of giving and there couldn’t be anything more noblw than donating blood.
Dr. Dhingra added that by donating blood, we unknowingly help a needy person and contribute in saving someone’s life.
In the blood donation camp, students and teachers from all departments of the college contributed with great zeal and enthusiasm. 40 people from the college fulfilled their social responsibility by donating their blood.
Dr. Dhingra acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Neeraj Katyal (Head, Department of Physiotherapy) and Dr. Nitika Gupta for successfully organizing the blood donation camp and encouraged them to keep up with the good work.
