Jalandhar June 7 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts Jalandhar fondly remembered the Founder Chairman Apeejay Education, Dr Stya Paul ji on his 14th death anniversary. The music department of the College recited the favourite bhajans of Dr Stya Paul ji and paid a melodious tribute to the great Visionary, Educationist, Freedom-Fighter and Philanthropist. Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman Apeejay Education, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chancellor Apeejay Stya University highlighted through her message, the illustrious life of Dr Stya Paul, which was an epitome of lofty ideals and human values.
Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia added that a true tribute to the Founder Chairman would be to emulate the values and principles which Dr. Stya Paul preached and practised throughout his life. Principal, Dr. Neerja Dhingra averred that Dr Stya Paul’s vision remains the guiding force for Apeejay and we seek continuous inspiration from his exemplary commitment and dedication.
Dr Sunit Kaur, Head, Department of English fondly remembered the times when Dr. Stya Paul ji used to visit the Institution and spread warmth around with his very pleasing and inspiring personality. Like a father figure, he would address most of the faculty members with their names and always encourage and appreciate each one of them for their noteworthy contribution to the College. She said that the milestones which the Institution covers year after year have their foundation in the far sighted vision and progressive ideals of Dr Stya Paul ji.
