Jalandhar February 23 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- On the occasion of Golden Jubilee, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar orgnaised Spring Fiesta.
Ms. Gurjot Kaur, Executive Editor, Ajit Group of Publications, was present as the Chief Guest. She is also the Director of Sarb Multiplex, Jalandhar and Member of Advisory committee of GNDU, Amritsar and Punjab Technical University. Also, Dr. Sucharita Sharma, Director, Apeejay Education was present as a Guest of Honour.
Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal ACFA welcomed the guests warmly and shared with the august gathering that it is a proud moment for our College for it has completed its 50 years. She put forth that it has been a vision of our Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul Ji and guidance and able leadership of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia (President, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group; Chairperson, Apeejay Education, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University) and constant support of Dr. Neha Berlia (Joint Secretary, Apeejay Education) that we are witnessing this day.
Welcoming Ms. Gurjot Kaur, Dr. Dhingra said that her contribution in promotion of Punjabi and Journalism is worth mentioning.
In honour of Dr. Sucharita Sharma, she said that success that our College has attained in these 50 years; she certainly has contributed a lot in its making. Her hardwork and dedication is unmatched and an inspiration.
Regarding Spring Fiesta, Dr. Dhingra said that this is a platform to showcase creativity and entrepreneurship skills for our students.
Addressing the gathering, Ms. Gurjot Kaur said that Apeejay College is a pioneer when it comes to cultural activities, art and education and it is a matter of pride to come here and be the part of this auspicious occasion.
Spring Fiesta 2025 began with a mesmerizing dance on Saraswati Vandana. Also, Anadi Mishra who has made his identity in Classical and Contemporary singing was there in whose presence, the audience had a gala time. RJ Super Boy Karan also made his presence counted who made the students and the gathering had fun time with various games and activities.
In Spring Fiesta 2025, designer dresses, jewellery, tarot card reading, predictions through numerology were set up and rides and food stalls were also there. The event ended with Raffle draws where participants won variety of designer gifts.
Dr. Dhingra acknowledged the efforts of Dr. Jagmohan Mago, Dr Monica Anand and Dr. Payal Arora for successfully organizing Spring Fiesta.
