Jalandhar June 8 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar solemnly commemorated the 16th death anniversary of its revered Founder Chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, by paying heartfelt tributes to his remarkable legacy and visionary leadership.
On this solemn occasion, students of the Department of Music offered a melodious tribute through the rendition of Dr. Stya Paul’s cherished devotional hymns, “Vishwapati Ke Dhyan Mein Jisne Lagayi Ho Lagan” and “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patit Pavan Sita Ram.” Their soulful performances filled the atmosphere with reverence and gratitude, honouring the life and values of the distinguished educationist.
In her commemorative message, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, and Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, described Dr. Stya Paul as a visionary leader, a custodian of moral values, and an inspiring patriot whose life was dedicated to the advancement of education and nation-building. She emphasized that imbibing his principles of integrity, compassion, and excellence in everyday life would be the most meaningful tribute to his enduring legacy.

She further stated that Dr. Stya Paul’s philosophy of ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ remains the guiding force behind the college’s pursuit of innovation, creativity, and holistic development. “Every milestone achieved by Apeejay College of Fine Arts stands as a reflection of his foresight, unwavering faith in education, and commitment to empowering future generations. Preserving and advancing this legacy through purposeful action is our sincerest tribute to him,” she added.
