Jalandhar April 17 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The sacred Havan Ceremony marking the commencement of the academic session 2026–27 for SSC I at HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School was conducted with great reverence and spiritual fervour under the esteemed leadership of Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla. The ceremony marked a warm and auspicious welcome to the new entrants stepping into the collegiate premises, filling the atmosphere with positivity and enthusiasm. Students and faculty members participated wholeheartedly, chanting holy mantras in unison and invoking the blessings of the Almighty for a successful and enriching academic journey ahead.

Principal Prof. Dr. Ekta Khosla, in her inspiring address, extended a heartfelt welcome to the students and congratulated them on becoming a part of the prestigious HMV family. She emphasized that this new phase of life offers immense opportunities for growth, learning, and self-discovery. Highlighting the significance of the institution stepping into its Centennial Year, she encouraged students to embrace discipline, dedication, and perseverance in order to achieve excellence. Encouraging students to adopt effective time management, she guided them to utilize every opportunity for their personal and academic growth. Mrs. Arvinder Kaur, School Coordinator, addressed the gathering by encouraging students to embrace this new academic journey as an opportunity to explore and acquire new skills.

She highlighted that this phase of life is not just about academic learning but also about discovering one’s potential, developing creativity, and building confidence. She motivated students to remain curious, open to learning, and actively participate in various activities that contribute to their overall growth and personality development. The Havan Ceremony culminated with the recital of the Shanti Path by Dr. Meenu Talwar, spreading an aura of peace and harmony.
