Jalandhar April 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Sardar Rajinder Singh Ji Johal, a committee member of premiere educational institution Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, left for heavenly abode recently. He not only served as a committee member but also remained a pillar of Doaba politics. In addition, he served as the Managing Director of Jalandhar Cooperative Bank and held many other important positions.
Following his untimely demise all persons connected to him have expressed profound sorrow. In light of this, Sardarni Balbir Kaur Ji, President of the Governing Council of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, expressed her condolences and recalled that Sardar Rajinder Singh Johal Ji shared a long standing association with the college.
College Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, along with the entire staff, paid homage to the departed soul by extending condolences and observing a two-minute silence to honour his sudden passing. Teachers from various departments attended this condolence meeting.
