Jalandhar December 31 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- All the teachers of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar, a leading educational institution of North India, gave a warm farewell party to the acting Principal of the college, Prof. Navdeep Kaur on her retirement. At the beginning of the event, Staff Secretary Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu and all the heads of departments and professors warmly welcomed Professor Navdeep Kaur and her spouse retired Professor S. Prabhjot Singh by offering bouquets of flowers. On this occasion, Staff Secretary Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu presented a brief but meaningful PPT on the life of Prof. Navdeep Kaur.
He said that during her tenure of about 33 years in the college, Prof. Navdeep Kaur rendered excellent services in the Department of Economics as a Professor, Head of the Department, Bursar, College Registrar and Acting Principal. While holding various positions, she took commendable steps in the interest of students, fellow staff members and the college. Senior Professor of the Department of Economics Dr. Simranjit Singh Bains, while looking back on the life of Prof. Navdeep Kaur, said that Prof. Navdeep Kaur obtained bachelors and masters degrees in Economics with Gold Medal. Students often praise her teaching ability in the classes.

On this occasion, all the teaching colleagues wished the acting principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur for her good health and bright future.
