Jalandhar December 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- S. Ramanujan Society of Mathematics celebrated National Mathematics Day to pay homage to S. Ramanujan, the greatest mathematicians of all times, on the occasion of his birth anniversary. The department organised Model Making Competition. Students made models on topics like trigonometry, functions, conic section, plane, probability etc. With this activity, they received considerable exposure to experiential learning through practical insights.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada and other honourable members of the managing committee and worthy Principal Prof.(Dr.)Pooja Prashar felicitated the students for their participation. They also appreciated the efforts of the department for organising the activity which served its purpose in promoting the importance of Mathematics and honoring the legacy of Srinivasa Ramanujan.
