Jalandhar March 12 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized Rishi Bodh Utsav on the occasion on 200th Birth Anniversary of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Ji under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Vedic Pataka was hoisted in the premises and Havan Yajna was performed. All the teaching and non-teaching staff members gave floral tribute to Maharishi Dayanand Ji.
Principal Dr. Sareen said that Maharishi Dayanand Ji performed various great deals for women education. He did great work during that era in which mobile, internet were not there, still he struggled a lot without proper means of communication, members of Arya Yuvti Sabha Ms. Jhanvi and Ms. Aditi presented their views on. Maharishi Dayanand Ji’s great contribution in the upliftment of society. Stage was conducted by Dr. Meenu Talwar, Head of Sanskrit Department and Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Mamta, Dean Vedic Studies.
Rishi Langar was also organized in which Chief Guest was Mr. Lakshit Sareen, SDM Kalka. Principal Dr. Sareen said that we all should follow the path shown by Vedas and we should try to become Arya. On this occasion, Dean Academics Dr. Seema Marwaha, School Coordinator, Mrs. Arvinder, Dean Student Welfare Mrs. Binoo Gupta, Mr. Sushil Kumar, members of non-teaching staff and students were also present.
