Jalandhar February 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Parent Teacher Association of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar celebrated ‘Mat Pita Santan Divas’ with gusto and reverence under the anle guidance of IQAC. This auspicious occasion provided an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to pay homage to parents and acknowledge their invaluable role in shaping our lives.
The event commenced with a formal address by Madam Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar. She expressed gratitude and appreciation for the love, guidance, and sacrifices of parents, fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of family relationships and values.
The glorifying moment set the tone for a day filled with reflection, gratitude, and celebration of familial bonds.
Students gave floral tribute to their parents, sang poems and recited heartfelt speeches expressing their gratitude and admiration for their unwavering love and support on the solemn day.
They also shared personal anecdotes and reflections, fostering a deeper understanding of the complexities of parent-child dynamics.

At the conclusion of the session, Dr Neena Mittal, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi delivered Vote of thanks to the guests.
The event culminated into a success owing to the efforts of Mrs Kawaljit Kaur, Mrs Rajni Kapoor, Ms Beenu and Ms Pooja Singh, members of Parent Teacher Association. Mrs Divya Budhia Gupta efficiently handled the stage.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar cherished the members of the Association and the IQAC for providing a platform for open dialogue among students regarding the challenges and rewards of familial relationships.
