KMV organizes a workshop on Entrepreneurship and Startups

Jalandhar March 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) PG Department of Chemistry & Zoology in association with KMV IIC, and KMV IPR Cell organized a dynamic and informative workshop on Entrepreneurship and Startups. The workshop witnessed the active participation of students and faculty members from various disciplines. The primary objective of the workshop was to fuel the entrepreneurial spirit among the students and inspire them to explore the world of startups. The event featured Mr. Shibananda Dash, Director of Startups & Innovations at MBCIE, a Hero group initiative, as the resource person.

Mr. Dash’s extensive experience and expertise in the startup ecosystem was evident in his engaging keynote address. During his address, he highlighted the key factors required for entrepreneurial success, including innovative thinking, perseverance and adaptability. His talk motivated the participants to embrace the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship. The workshop incorporated various interactive sessions and practical activities to optimize participant engagement. Mr. Dash focused on critical aspects such as idea generation, market analysis, business planning, and funding opportunities.

These sessions covered essential topics such as product development, effective communication strategies, branding, and marketing tactics. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this workshop will serve as a catalyst for the students to uncover their entrepreneurial potential and will equipthem with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the startup ecosystem& will foster an environment that nurtured innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial mindset among participants. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of the whole organizing committee for successfully organizing the event.
