Jalandhar September 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Women Empowerment Cell of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a transformative Health and Hygiene Camp in collaboration with Nine, a leading sanitary napkin brand, serving as a beacon of awareness and empowerment for women’s health. The objective was to illuminate the often-misunderstood realms of menstrual health and hygiene and to emphasise the need to break free from societal chains that bind discussions on menstruation.
The representatives from Nine distributed sanitary napkins among girl students. It was an empowering initiative, allowing the students to bloom with confidence, ensuring that the young women are equipped with the tools to protect and nurture their bodies. This generous gesture acted like a bridge, linking awareness to action, ensuring that no student would be left without the tools to maintain her health.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar applauded the collaborative effort that pushed the participants toward healthier, more informed lives.
