Tiny Tots to Young Adults, Innocent Hearts Celebrates Independence Day with Patriotic Fervour

Jalandhar August 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Innocent Hearts Group, comprising schools and colleges, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour through a series of engaging activities across its campuses, bringing together students from the pre-primary level to college. All the campuses were beautifully decorated in the tricolour hues of saffron, white and green, creating a vibrant and patriotic atmosphere.

At the Pre-Primary School, students participated enthusiastically in the celebrations. As part of the festivities, UKG students took part in a “Dress Up as a Freedom Fighter” activity, where they dressed up as eminent freedom fighters and confidently spoke 5–6 lines about their chosen personalities using colourful props. Students from the primary to senior secondary classes in all campuses also participated in a range of creative and engaging activities. Classes I and II took part in “Dress Up as a Freedom Fighter”, while Class III students made tricolour badges and paper fans. Class V students showcased their creativity through Patriotic Poster Making, expressing their love for the nation through vibrant artwork.

Class VI students participated in a Historical Quiz on Freedom Fighters

Class VI students participated in a Historical Quiz on Freedom Fighters, testing their knowledge of India’s freedom struggle, while students of Classes VII and VIII participated in a Hindi Poem Recitation, expressing patriotic sentiments through their powerful recitations. Students of Classes IX and X presented a “Tribute to Freedom Fighters” Role Play, enacting significant historical moments and highlighting the courage, sacrifice and valour of the freedom fighters. In Peer Education, The office bearers went to educate their juniors about India’s freedom struggle.

At Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan,the Cultural Committee of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions celebrated the spirit of patriotism with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour under the theme “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future.” The students participated in poster making, poetry, speeches, patriotic solo songs, skits, and patriotic group dances activities, showcasing their creativity and love for the nation.Meanwhile, the NSS Unit of Innocent Hearts College of Education celebrated Independence Day on the theme “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”, with the aim of reviving the essence of patriotism and celebrating India’s rich cultural diversity. Student-teachers recited self-composed poems expressing their pride in being Indians and highlighting the spirit of unity in diversity.
The diverse activities truly brought alive the spirit of the occasion, reminding students that freedom comes with responsibility.
