Jalandhar May 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A one day workshop on the topic ‘The Art of Baking and Decorating Cupcakes’ was organized by the Department of Home Science of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. Ms. Shreya who is a Jewellery Designer by profession and also runs her own bakery ‘The Cup Cake Story’ was present as a keynote speaker in this workshop.
While giving detailed information about Cupcakes, Vanilla Cupcakes, American Butter Cream, Italian Milan Topping, Chocolate Garnish and Fondant Flower Cakes to the students, Madam Shreya addressing the students said, a lot of patience and passion is required to pursue Baking.
Principal Dr. NeerjaDhingra expressing her views about this workshop said that our focus is to give practical knowledge to the students so they have some skills in their hands and are able to to start their own work and can even provide employment to others. Dr. Dhingra appreciated the efforts of Dr. Monica Anand, Head, Department of Home Science for the success of this workshop.
