KMV successfully organises a week-long vocational training workshop for Rapid Action Force

Jalandhar May 18 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) continuously undertakes various significant initiatives to contribute proactively to nation-building. In this series, KMV organised a week-long vocational training workshop for the staff of C.R.P.F.’s Rapid Action Force (R.A.F.), Jalandhar, and the female members of their families. Under the social outreach program run by KMV, this workshop saw enthusiastic participation from more than 114 women who were extensively informed about various concepts related to cosmetology.

Practical demonstrations were also organised during the workshop to address the participants’ queries. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi informed everyone about the community service efforts by the Rapid Action Force and expressed immense pride in empowering the women related to such brave soldiers’ families. She also lauded the efforts made by Dr. Gurjot Dean, E.C.A., and Head of the History Department, along with Dr. Monika Sharma, Director of the Gandhian Studies Centre, and the entire organising committee for the successful execution of the event.
