Students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts actively participated in the seven-day workshop at IIT Roorkee

Jalandhar August 20 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar embark their footprints at ITT, Roorkee. The 7 students – Taranpreet Kaur (M.Voc E-Commerce and Digital Marketing), Arshiya Jairath, Tanisha, Aarush and Ekam (B.Voc. Data Science) participated in seven sessions organized by IIT Roorkee on the topic Securing the future: Al privacy and Zero-touch Networks.

During the workshop, they had an interactive discussion on various topics with the experts on these subjects and later enthusiastically participated in various projects. The workshop taught them about the necessity of being staying aware and literate about the prevalence and dependence on AI in today’s time and how it is of utmost importance that being the users of AI, one needs to be attentive enough while using it that they don’t become the victims of any of its negative consequences.

Also, the students got the golden opportunity to work in cutting Edge technology in Network in ICCN Lab of IIT Roorkee during this 7 day workshop.

Dr. Neerja Dhingra (Principal, ACFA) congratulated the students on this wonderful achievement and encouraged them to participate in workshops or seminars on such contemporary topics in future too. She added that such opportunities surely help them to discover their potential and talent within them and thus utilize that potential in right direction and in more productive manner.

Dr. Dhingra also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Roopali Sood, Head, Department of Computer Science, Dr. Jagmohan Mago and Ms. Harpreet Kaur for guiding the students for this wonderful opportunity.
