Jalandhar September 3 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- To provide practical knowledge to its students, Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar, regularly organizes industrial visits. As part of this initiative, 40 second- and third-year students of the Interior Design department recently visited Deluxe Sanitation and Deluxe Interior Studio. During this visit, students gained insights into new sanitary equipment and accessories, as well as valuable information about wall finishes and trending flooring options. Representatives from well-known brands such as Kohler, Kajaria, and Pergo were also present at the event. They provided the students with information about the new materials available in the market related to their field.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra shared her thoughts on the visit, stating that the knowledge gained by the students at Deluxe Sanitation and Deluxe Interior Studio was informative. She emphasized the college’s ongoing efforts to ensure that students in specialized fields are given opportunities for industrial visits, allowing them to acquire practical skills alongside classroom learning. She also appreciated the efforts of Ms. Rajni Kumar and Ms. Harshita Arora for guiding the students during the industrial visit and encouraged them to organize more such visits in the future so that students can gain practical knowledge related to their field of study.
