S. Ramanujan Society of Mathematics holds Extempore Competition

S. Ramanujan Society of Mathematics organised Extempore Competition.

Jalandhar February 16 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- This competition was organised to give an opportunity to the students to display their presentation skills. The topics of the event were not only based upon Mathematics but also from real life situations. Students of BA/ B. Sc. Semester II, Semester IV and Semester VI participated in this event with full enthusiasm. The speeches were evaluated based on criteria such as clarity of explanation, logical coherence, and overall presentation style.

Sandesh Preeti of B.Sc. (C.Sc.) Semester VI secured first position, Chandni of B.Sc. (Economics) Semester IV and Bhavika of B. Sc. (Non Medical) Semester II made it to second position and Harsimran of B.A Semester IV bagged third position. The students showcased their depth of understanding and creativity in approaching mathematical concepts.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and worthy Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar congratulated the students and praised the efforts of Department of Mathematics for organising such events for the overall development of students and providing them an opportunity to demonstrate their mathematical prowess as well as hone their public speaking skills.
