PCM SD College for Women bids adieu to final year students at Valedictory Tathastu-2024′

Jalandhar April 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar bid a warm adieu to the final year students with great enthusiasm.

The chief guest of the day was Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar.

The event was an absolute fiesta devoted to the time spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments.

The event commenced with a classical dance performance by a student. After which, the students of the department of Commerce delivered a singing performance.

Principal Madam encouraged students to proceed boldly with goals and courage in their hearts.

She also appreciated their efforts for enthusiastically participating in various college activities and raising the bar of perfection. She wished them luck to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the college motto of ‘Do Your Job Well’.

Arpanjot of M.B.E.I.T Semester IV and Pooja M.B.E.I.T Semester II delivered their address expressing gratitude to the mentors and teachers for their invaluable contribution in making their college journey a memorable one. The highlight of the function was the beautiful cultural presentations showcased by the students. The students put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs and pulsating music that rocked the auditorium. Various games were also held for the students.

A modeling competition took place where Kimpreet of B.Com Semester VI was the second runners up and Jaspreet of B.Com Semester VI was the first runners up. Arpanjot Kaur of M.B.E.I.T Semester IV was crowned as Miss SD 2023-24.

Apart from this, Divya Arora of BSc Economics Semester VI was bestowed with the title of Best Walk, Harmandeep Kaur of BCA Semester VI was given the title of Best Hairstyle, Kimpreet of B.Com Semester VI was given the title of Best Talent and the title of Best Look was awarded to Khushi Malhotra of M.Com Semester IV.

Muskan Kalia of M.Com Semester II shared her experience with the seniors highlighting their contributions and learning experience they received so that the juniors too follow their foot prints. The dedication and efforts taken by the seniors in every activity of the college was recalled during her speech.

The students danced to their heart’s content. Many were seen clicking pictures of friends and teachers, capturing memories of college forever.

The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Madam Principal.

President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Management and the worthy Principal of the college wished best of luck to the outgoing students and appreciated the Incharges of the event, Mrs Rajni Kapoor and Mrs Divya Budhia.

The stage was skillfully conducted by Mrs Shikha Puri, Mrs Rachna, Silvy and Dipanshi, students of B.Com FS Semester IV and Muskan Kalia of M.Com Semester II. The entire event was organised by the efforts of Central Association.
