Jalandhar January 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A student of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, brought laurels to the institution by securing First Position at ‘Antarrashtriya Kavi Darbar’ organised by Antarrashtriya Sarb Sanjha Manch, Canada, in collaboration with Ramgarhia Sikh Foundation of Ontario.
Jasmine, a student of B.Com Semester IV, participated in the competition under the guidance of the Department of Punjabi and impressed the judges with her poetic excellence. The competition revolved around themes encompassing religion, social issues, current affairs, and the Punjabi mother tongue, providing a rich platform for creative and cultural expression.
Students from various colleges took part in this international event. The winners were honoured with cash prizes and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performances.
On this proud occasion, President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dad, along with other esteemed members of the Managing Committee and Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar congratulated the student and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Department of Punjabi. They encouraged students to continue participating in such national and international forums to nurture literary talent and cultural awareness in the future.
