Jalandhar August 11 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- In an endeavour to create awareness about the growing menace of cyber frauds and promote responsible digital practices, PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organized an informative Guest Lecture on “AI for Cyber Safety: Safeguarding Yourself from Frauds and Scams”. The programme was organized by the Cultural Enlightenment Cell under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).
The session was conducted by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur (ACS), SEBI Resource Person and Head, PG Department of Commerce, Lyallpur Khalsa College for Women, Jalandhar. She sensitized the students about AI-enabled cyber threats, online frauds, scams, phishing, and other digital risks. She also shared practical tips and safe digital practices to help students identify suspicious online activities and protect themselves from cyber frauds.
The interactive session proved highly beneficial for the students and faculty members, enhancing their awareness about the responsible and secure use of technology in an increasingly digital world.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the Department and appreciated the initiative for sensitizing students about cyber safety and responsible digital practices.
