Jalandhar April 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, under the aegis of the Buddy Program and in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a Slogan Writing Competition on Drug Abuse .The event was conducted in response to the letter received from the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Jalandhar, with the aim of raising awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse among students.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various streams, who creatively expressed their concern against drug addiction through powerful and thought-provoking slogans. The event served as a platform for youth to voice their support for a drug-free society and reflect their commitment towards building a healthier future.
Aditi (B.Com. Semester II, Roll No. 3019) secured the First Position, Jasmine Kaur (B.Com. Semester II, Roll No. 3005) won the Second Position, and Mudhita (B.A. Semester IV, Roll No. 1531) was awarded the Third Position for their impactful slogans.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the students and appreciated the initiative taken under the Buddy Program to sensitize the youth against the menace of drug abuse.
