Jalandhar September 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The S. Ramanujan Society of Mathematics of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized a ‘PowerPoint Presentation‘ Competition. Fifteen students from B.Sc. (Non-Medical, Computer Science, Economics) and B.A. participated, showcasing their skills on various topics such as ‘Scope of Mathematics,’ ‘Graph Theory,’ ‘Vedic Maths,’ ‘Use of Mathematics in Computer Science,’ and ‘Astronomy,’ among others.
The event aimed to provide students an opportunity to enhance their presentation skills and boost their confidence. Blossom from B.Sc. (Non-Medical) Semester III secured the first position, while Harsimran from B.A. Semester V claimed second place. The third position was jointly held by Aradhana from B.Sc. (Non-Medical) Semester V and Apurva from B.Sc. (Non-Medical) Semester I.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice-President Shri Vinod Dada, esteemed members of the managing committee, and the worthy Principal, Prof. Dr. Pooja Prashar, praised the participants for their enthusiastic involvement. They also commended the efforts of the Department of Mathematics for encouraging students to participate in such academic events.
