Jalandhar April 25 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organized an enlightening online session on the topic “How to Plan for a Startup and Legal & Ethical Steps.” The session aimed to guide students and budding entrepreneurs on building a startup with a strong legal and ethical foundation.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Shubham Tandon, Co-Founder and CFO of My Pahadi Dukan and Founder of Startup Hub Jalandhar. A dynamic young entrepreneur and finance expert, Mr. Tandon shared his inspiring journey of transforming a class project into a successful business venture that delivers natural Himalayan products across India. His initiative has been recognized by the Royal Government of Bhutan and supported through various grants from the Government of India.
He also shed light on the significance of ethical business practices and the legal intricacies involved in launching a startup. He discussed practical strategies for planning a startup, managing finances, complying with regulations, and building sustainable, community-focused enterprises. The participants gained valuable insights and motivation to take their first step towards entrepreneurship.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, the other honourable members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the Institution’s Innovation Council for organizing such a meaningful and inspiring session.
