Jalandhar November 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Rotaract Club of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organised an important health-awareness initiative in collaboration with the Bella team of sanitary napkins.
As part of their outreach activity, representatives from Bella visited the college campus and interacted with students on issues related to menstrual hygiene and women’s health.
During the session, the team highlighted the significance of adopting safe and hygienic menstrual practices and addressed various queries raised by the students. To further support menstrual well-being, the Bella team generously distributed sanitary pads among the students, encouraging them to prioritize personal hygiene and make informed choices regarding menstrual products.
The initiative reflected the institution’s commitment to promoting health education, creating awareness, and fostering a supportive environment for young women. The Incharges of the Rotaract Club Mrs Kawaljit Kaur and Mrs Seema Tiwari along with other members actively coordinated the programme, ensuring smooth organisation and enthusiastic participation. It proved a thoughtful gesture and students gained valuable insights from the interaction.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar acknowledged the efforts of the Bella team and the Rotaract Club for successfully organising this meaningful and women-centric event.
