Jalandhar December 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- ‘Hindi Sahitya Dhara’ of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Hindi Quiz Competition with the intent of strengthening students’ understanding of historical evolution of Hindi literature. It aimed to nurture literary awareness and academic curiosity among students.
Around 20 students from B.A. and B.Ed. programmes participated enthusiastically. The quiz witnessed active involvement, intellectual engagement, and a spirited exchange of ideas as participants demonstrated their knowledge across various literary periods, movements, and prominent literary figures of Hindi literature.
The programme was appreciated by Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar, who extended her heartfelt commendation to Dr. Neena Mittal and Ms. Deevakshi for their dedicated efforts in organising the competition successfully.
President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Dr Pooja Prashar applauded the Department of Hindi for taking such initiatives rooted in cultural sensitivity, linguistic proficiency, and a deeper appreciation for India’s rich literary heritage among students.
