Jalandhar July 29 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Red Cross Society of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, in collaboration with the Department of Home Science, organized a guest lecture on the topic “Awareness of Life Skills & World Hepatitis Day” on the occasion of World Hepatitis Day. The keynote speaker was Dr. Shobna Bansal, Civil Surgeon, Civil Hospital Jalandhar, who delivered an insightful talk covering the transmission, symptoms, treatment, and prevention of Hepatitis. She also emphasized the importance of life skills in maintaining overall well-being.
The session was highly interactive, with students engaging in meaningful discussions on liver health and related issues. Dr. Bansal patiently addressed various queries, creating a participative and awareness-driven atmosphere. Mrs. Manmeet Kaur, Head of the Department of Home Science, and Ms. Shalini Bibra, Incharge of the Red Cross Society, expressed their gratitude to Dr. Shobna Bansal and the entire team from Civil Hospital, Jalandhar, for their valuable contribution.
