Jalandhar January 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The NCC cadets of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, under the able leadership of ANO Captain Priya Mahajan, Ms Aashima and Ms Umar Fatima visited the Red Cross School for the Deaf to celebrate Basant Panchmi in a heart-warming and meaningful manner. The visit beautifully reflected the true spirit of the festival by spreading joy, love, and inclusivity among special children.

During the celebration, the NCC cadets enthusiastically interacted with the children, flew kites with them, shared refreshments, and spent quality time together, creating moments filled with laughter, warmth, and emotional bonding. This unique style of celebration conveyed a powerful message to society that true happiness lies in sharing, caring, and standing in solidarity with children with special needs.

The initiative highlighted the strong sense of social responsibility and humanitarian values instilled among the NCC cadets. Such outreach activities, regularly undertaken by the NCC unit of the college ,aim to sensitize society towards empathy, inclusiveness, and collective responsibility for the welfare and well-being of special children.

President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other honourable members of the Managing Committee, and the worthy Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar lauded the efforts of the NCC team and appreciated their continuous commitment to community service and social upliftment.
