Jalandhar April 10 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- A Felicitation and Interaction program was organized by the NCC unit in collaboration with Placement Cell for the NCC cadets.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Colonel Maninder Singh Sachdev, the Commanding Officer of the 2 Punjab Girls Battalion, who served as the chief guest.
The program commenced with a warm welcome extended to the chief guest by the NCC cadets. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar, accompanied by the NCC Incharge Captain Priya Mahajan accorded a green welcome to the guest.
The NCC cadets showcased their patriotic spirit through group dance and cultural programme, captivating the audience.
During his address, Colonel felicitated the NCC cadets and shared valuable insights with the final year students, emphasizing opportunities within the Indian Army, including the prestigious government schemes and other career prospects. He delivered his talk on time management and also enlisted measures to combat hurdles in life. He also interacted with the attendees, providing guidance and motivation for their future endeavors.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Madam Principal. Cadet Tanya and Cadet Dipanshi successfully conducted the stage.
Subedar Major Banwari Lal Meena, SM of 2 Punjab Girls Battalion, PI Staff Naib Subedar Davinder Pal Singh, Hav. Yogendra Kumar, Mrs Ramanjit, Mrs Jaswinder and Mrs Sonia were also present on the occasion.
In recognition of their efforts, President Shri Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar praised the NCC unit and the Placement Cell for organizing such a successful event, underscoring its importance in fostering comradeship and leadership among the students.
