Jalandhar February 21 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Post Graduate Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organized an educational visit of BAJMC students to Radio City (91.9) on the “World Radio Day”. On this occasion, the Principal of the college Dr. Jaspal Singh motivated the students to learn more about the industry requirements to reach the industrial benchmarks and cope up with the continuous change. He added that such activities keep students abreast with the latest in the media field.
Head of Department Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Anand informed that the visit was organised by the department to make the students aware about the requirements of the radio industry. Students visited the studio of the Radio Station to get exposure of practical knowledge about Radio Jockeying and handling equipments. The students thoroughly enjoyed the various activities like working of Audio Console, Logging the Program, Voice Modulation and other insights of the Radio Station.
The students also had a great time with RJ Vella Vikrant and RJ Luveena in this Visit under the able guidance of Programming Director, Ms. Seema Soni. The students were enthralled with this educational experience that they got this opportunity to discover the professional aspects of Radio Jockeying. Prof. Himanshu accompanied the students during this visit.
