Jalandhar January 28 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- On the occasion of Republic Day, January 26, Assistant Professor of Postgraduate Geography Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar Dr. Pooja Rana was honoured for her distinguished services in the field of education. The honour was presented by the Hon’ble Water Resources Minister of Punjab Government, Shri Barinder Kumar Goyal during a district level function.
The presence of Rajya Sabha Member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, MLA Kartarpur Shri Balkar Singh, Deputy Commissioner Shri Himanshu Agarwal and Police Commissioner Smt. Dhanpreet Kaur further enhanced the splendour of the programme. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu shared detailed information about the academic achievements and dedicated services of Prof. Dr. Pooja Rana and formally honoured her.
Head of Mathematics Department Dr. Harjit Singh was also present during the function.
