Jalandhar February 14 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar provides ample opportunities to its students for their overall growth and personality development. Recently, college student Mayank Bhardwaj was shortlisted for the grand finale of Voice of Punjab (Season 16) organized by PTC Punjabi. Principal Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu congratulated the student and stated that success surely comes to those who are committed and dedicated to their work. He further appreciated Dean Cultural Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh Bolina and head of Music Prof. Sukhdev Singh for their motivation and able guidance.
Dr Sandhu opined that a teacher’s guidance plays a vital role in shaping the career of students and providing platforms to showcase their talent. He also added that Mayank has been singing Boliyan for the college Bhangra team for last two years. Moreover, he has won many medals and positions in events like folk orchestra, vaar singing, Kavishri and boliyan etc. in Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar’s zonal and Inter-zonal youth festivals. During this felicitation event, Prof. Bhagwat Kumar and Mr. Sukhjeet Singh were also present.
