Jalandhar November 1 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Four cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar brought laurels to the institution by performing exceptionally well at the All India Vayu Sainik Camp (AIVSC) held in Bengaluru. After qualifying at the State-Level Camp (Punjab Directorate), the cadets represented the Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh Directorate (PHHP & CHD Dte) at the national-level camp, where participants from 23 states competed. The selected cadets were CSUO Nitish Rana, CWO Charanpreet Bhardwaj, C/Cpl Parminder Singh, and C/Cpl Abhijeet Singh.
CSUO Nitish Rana was appointed Senior of PHHP & CHD Directorate and excelled in Drill and Tent Pitching. CWO Charanpreet Bhardwaj performed outstandingly in Academics, Drone, and Drill. C/Cpl Parminder Singh and C/Cpl Abhijeet Singh also excelled in Academics, Drill, and Tent Pitching events. The Directorate secured top positions in several events, including:1st in Line Area & Tent Pitching, 2nd in Drill and Shooting, and 1st in Health & Hygiene, achieving the Overall 3rd Position nationally.
Principal Prof. Navdeep Kaur congratulated the cadets on their remarkable success and praised their dedication and discipline. She also extended her appreciation to Flying Officer Dr. Manpreet Singh, Associate NCC Officer (ANO), for his excellent guidance and mentorship. Dr. Manpreet Singh expressed pride in the cadets’ achievements, calling their success a matter of great honour for the college and an inspiration for all NCC members. The college management commended the cadets and the ANO for bringing national recognition to Lyallpur Khalsa College.
