Jalandhar January 26 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- On the occasion of 75th Republic day, NCC/ NSS committee of LKCTC Jalandhar organized a Patriotic event to pay tribute to the Veterans of India who spent their life in protecting the nation along martyrs who sacrificed their life for the soil.
Various competitions including Poster making, Extempore and One minute video display were organized. Celebration also includes Singing by NCC Cadets, Bhangra and Giddha performances.
At the end prizes were given to the winners of the competition. First prize in extempore was bagged by Chahat vermaand second prize was tie between Nandini and Abhiraj. In one minute video Manav secored first position, Priyanshu and Gurpreet Singh respectively scored second and third position. In poster making Shana Basri and Navdeep Kaur bagged first position, Mahi and Amandeep Kaur bagged second position, Sandhya and Nancy scored third position.
S. Sukhbir Singh Chatha (Director A.A- KCL Group) and Dr. R.S. Deol (Director LKCTC) appreciated the efforts of CTO Ms. Harbinder Kaur (A.P. Applied Science) & Ms. Savita (AP,IT) for organizing the event that instill a feeling of unity, patriotism, national pride and a sense of belongingness.
