Jalandhar August 22 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- ‘Krishnam’ ballet dedicated to the festival of Janmashtami of Yogeshwar Krishna is being organized in a grand manner tomorrow with the joint courtesy of Rajeshwari Kala sangam and Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. Dr. Styapaul Ji, the founder Chairman of Apeejay Education had established Rajeshwari Kala Sangam to preserve Indian art, culture and the rich heritage of India who himself was an ardent devotee and worshiper of Lord Krishna.
Today, his daughter, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, President, Apeejay Education, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University and President, Apeejay Stya & Swarna Group, is preserving and promoting his legacy with great dedication and devotion.
On this occasion, Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar, Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal, IAS will be present as the Chief guest in this mega event. Dr. Sucharita Sharma (Director, Apeejay Education) and Dr. Neerja Dhingra (Principal, ACFA) jointly expressed their views about ‘Krishnam’ and said that in this musical drama, various episodes of Krishna’s life will be presented and its energy will definitely enthrall the audience and they will certainly connect with and experience its wholesome vibes.
They said that the purpose of presenting ‘Krishnam’ ballet is to connect today’s young generation, who is lost in the social media in the race of mobile and internet, with its rich heritage and culture.
