Jalandhar December 2 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students continue to achieve significant positions in various fields with their hard work and dedication. In this series, K.M.V.’s athlete Gurjeet Kaur has brought laurels to the college by winning two consecutive gold medals. During the Inter-College Athletics Championship held in Amritsar, Gurjeet exhibited outstanding sportsmanship in shot put, securing a gold medal. It is noteworthy that she also clinched a gold medal in the shot put competition held during the district level Khed Mela organised by the Sports Department, Jalandhar.
Congratulating the accomplished student Gurjeet Kaur, Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed best wishes, encouraging her to establish new heights of success in the future. She emphasised that KMV provides free education, boarding, lodging, transportation, open-air gym, swimming pool, modern gymnasium, health club, and open playgrounds, contributing effectively to the students’ national and international recognition.
