Jalandhar July 1 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) Dr. Neetu Verma, Head, PG Department of Physics represented Punjab as the Anveshika Coordinator at the National Anveshika Coordinators Meet under the NANI initiative of Padma Shri Prof. H.C. Verma which was held at the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. This meet was witnessed by 30 Anveshika coordinators from various states of India. During the meet, Dr Neetu shared her institute’s initiatives under the Anveshika network aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning among Physics students.
Her innovative experiments using breadboards for teaching electronics in a straightforward and impressive manner were praised by all participants and the NANI Coordinator, Prof. H.C. Verma. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Prof. Suryavashni, Director, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. H.C. Verma as the Guest of Honor.During the event, Anveshika coordinators were informed about various initiatives such as the Lepton programs, NAEST, and other awareness programs designed to popularize science among students across India. Coordinators from different states presented their annual reports and demonstrated innovative experiments, which inspired and excited the participants.
The valedictory session was concluded by the Chief Guest, Prof. Ahluwalia, President of IAPT, who encouraged the coordinators by discussing recent trends in education, particularly the inclusion of Artificial Intelligence.Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedicongratulated Dr. Neetu Verma for her outstanding representation and contribution to the meet. She averred that we are immensely proud to be designated as the Anveshika centre, and this recognition reaffirms our commitment to providing high-quality science education.
