KMV is a leader in co-curricular activities along with education: Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi
Jalandhar February 5 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) students have been making the institution proud by winning various competitions along with excellent performance in academics as well as in co-curricular activities. In this series, recently the students of KMV brought glory to the institution by becoming the first runners up in the inter-college competition. In this competition organised by CT Institute, Jalandhar, the students achieved this position with a cash prize of Rs 10,000. It is noteworthy that the students secured first and second position in modelling.
In Salad Making and Business Plan competitions, the students got the second position while in the competitions like collage making, rangoli and mehendi, they got the third position. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulating all these promising students on this special achievement, averred that by participating in such events, students’ self-confidence increases and they also get a good opportunity to learn new skills. She further maintained that KMV which is a leader in co-curricular activities along with education, always makes efforts with full seriousness to enhance and groom the talent of the students and such successes are a positive sign of these efforts. Madam Principal lauded the proper guidance provided by the teachers to the students for their brilliant achievement.
