Students from all over India participate enthusiastically in this competition
Jalandhar September 21 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) organized a national level online Inter-college Creative Writing competition titled ‘The Story Tellers’ in order to harness creative potential of students in English. The competition was organized by PG Department of English. The aim of the competition was to engage the students to showcase their abilities in creative domains.This competition elicited an overwhelming participation of the students from different colleges of India. Participants presented their creations based on different aspects of life such as human life, knowledge and science, technology, universe, nature and human relations etc.
Sharanjit Kaur & Sophie bagged first position, Vishakha bagged second position, Khushi Rai bagged third position, Simran Sharma and Chanchala bagged consolation prize during the competition. Shadow Burn, The Last Note, Tbe Last Melody, Try to be wise in every situation & The Strangers Gift etc. were some of the remarkable stories penned by the zealous students. Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the students and averred that such creative activities provide young learners ample opportunities to showcase their hidden talent. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Madhumeet, Head, PG Department of English and Dr. Reena Sharma for organizing this event successfully.
