Students acquainted about the strategies and procedure to take admission in foreign universities
Jalandhar September 9 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) has been striving tirelessly for the holistic growth of students. The Centre for Competitive Exams under the aegis of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya has been organizing various workshops, extension lectures and seminars for the young aspiring students. Keeping with this trend, an extension lecture on GRE and GMAT Exams was organized. Mr. Munish Modi, ETS India was the Resource Person for this Lecture. In his lecture, Mr. Munish Modi highlighted the relevance of TOEFL in getting admissions in the Foreign Universities. He also stated that TOEFL is the world’s premier English Proficiency Test for university study, work and immigration.
He emphasised that proficiency in English offers job prospects,especially in international companies or industries where English is the preferred or required language.He also discussed about the GRE and GMAT structure and shared the tips and strategies to crack these exams. He reiterated that the students should primarily have confidence and determination for clearing any exam so they have to believe in themselves and stay focused on their goals. They should thoroughly analyze the syllabus of exams before starting with its preparation.
Principal Prof Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi expressed her gratitude for the resource person & inspired the students to actively participate in all the Placement drives on the college campus. Addressing the students, Madam Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi pointed out that these exams also enhance resume and open doors to competitive job markets. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr. Sabina Batra, Dr.Pardeep Arora and the team of Centre for Competitive Exams for their initiatives in keeping the students abreast of the latest developments in the field of IT and Commerce.
