More than 550 NCC cadets will be imparted training in various subjects during the camp
Jalandhar June 27 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) successfully inaugurated the Annual Training Camp of 2 Pb (G) BN NCC Jal. More than 550 girl cadets will be trained in various subjects like drill, weapon training, map reading, firstaid & communication skills etc. during the camp.The camp was successfully inaugurated by Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi in the presence of other dignitaries from the defence. It is pertinent to mention that this is the eligibility camp after which cadets will become qualified to appear for BEE and CEE certificate examination.
Principal (Prof.) Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi welcomed the girl cadets to KMV- the seat of women empowerment.Addressing the cadets from 25 institutions, she averred that it filled her heart with pride to witness the youthful energy and willingness of the cadets to go an extra mile for the society and nation. Col. Maninder Singh Sachdeva Commanding Officer of 2 Pb (G) BNNCC Jal. also welcomed the cadets and exhorted them to complete the training with 100% participation and also highlighted the relevance of defence in the present context, emphasising on the things we learn when we join any armed forces. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Ms Sufalica, Incharge NCC and the NCC department for successfully organising the camp.
