Jalandhar December 7 (Jaswinder Singh Azad)- The Red Cross Society and R. Venkataraman Chemical Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya jointly organized 4 days “First Aid Training Camp” in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society (Punjab State Branch) Chandigarh under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. On this occasion, Ms. Sunita (Distt. Training Officer, Red Cross, Jalandhar) and Sh. Pawan Kumar Sharma (Asstt. Commissioner) Set Zone Ambulance were present.

Sh. Pawan Kumar Sharma gave training to students about providing first aid in different situations. Around 50 students participated in this camp. An online exam of students was also conducted on the last day of the camp. This exam was conducted by Indian Red Cross Society and students were given certificates for the same. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen congratulated the advisor of Red Cross Society, HMV Mrs. Deepshikha and Incharge Mrs. Pawan Kumari. She said that such camps help the students in becoming responsible citizens. She also thanked Indian Red Cross Society for the camp.
